Wow Are These Cookies Great!

Happy Friday Friends~ ~ ~
I get Martha's Cookie a Day by email and when this recipe showed up in my mailbox the other day I knew I had to give it a try right away. If you are a sugar cookie lover these are the best I have ever eaten! They got rave reviews on her site.

I just love this new plate so sweet and pretty in pink. A decision has been make and I'm stickin' to it. I am officially a collector. I really don't have a collection of anything and I believe that as a Big Girl now I need to jump on the bandwagon so here goes. My intention is to collect many pretty flowered plates, mostly in pink to use as my good china for dinner parties. This is the first in the collection purchased at a local flea market for $1.50. I'm going to mix it up on the table and let everyone pick their favorite plate and sit there. Hows that for planning a seating arrangement ahead of time! It should be fun collecting the plates and I will keep a journal of where and when I purchased each plate.

So tell me, What do you collect?

On to the baking again. Ingredients at the ready. Do you get everything measured out ahead of time when you bake or are you a measure as you do girl?

Cookies ready for the oven. These are Big cookies only 6 to a pan.

My assistant has his own directors stool in the kitchen and here you can see that he fell assleep on the job. He is the best pet friend I have ever had. He loves to be with me when I'm working in the kitchen.

Cookies fresh and warm from the oven.
The cake plate was a favorite wedding gift many years ago.
