A Tiskit A Tasket A Pink And White Basket

Beautiful Flowered Plates

Crystal salt and pepper

Crystal wine glasses and napkins

Stirling Silver All In A Basket. Ready for a Spring Picnic.

The plate in the front is Limoges and I won it in a give-a-way at Rachelle's blog. I was so thrilled because I am beginning a collection of at least 12 pink flowered plates. These are the first two.

If you have an odd pink flowered plate just taking up space you know where to send it. My idea is to set a table with a different plate for each place and allow the guests to choose their favorite plate. Allowing my guests to create the seating arrangement. I'm looking forward to using them but for now with only two plates it's a picnic for my Beloved and I.

A Romantic Picnic For Two.

My buy-of-the-century silver.
Six place settings for $25.00!

How delightful! I love the idea of having a different place setting for each guest. If I had just one of those darlings I would mail it right off to you...but I don't have a single one.

What a great idea, using mismatched china for each place setting...can't wait to see your table set with them.
Lovely picnic basket full of beautiful china, crystal and silver. I wish I had a plate to send you...next time I am at the thrift store I will be looking...are you looking for just dinner plates or any size?

What a lovely vingette of pink and white. I adore pink plates but have noticed that they are getting harder to find.
Your table setting will be even lovelier when you complete your collection.

Ahrisha, your picnic looks so romantic! Your idea of different plates is wonderful, I can hardly wait to see ALL of them, when you're done collecting! I'm doing that with white dishes and have had so much fun! I want to thank you so much for stopping by my blog and your wonderful words of encouragement and idea's! You're right, everything white would tie in and I can just put ~MORE~ collectables on the shelves!

Now that's going to be one lovely and romantic picnic! Everything looks just perfect in your picnic basket!

Deal of the century is right! I can't even begin to imagine how much the 6 place settings would cost originally, and they look in perfect shape. You go girl! I bet you were doing the happy dance over that one!

Have a great week!

Hi there, I used to live in Delaware..only 45min. from Lancaster. What a gorgeous place! Especially love spring/summer with all of the blooming flowers and the horse and buggies. This is so pretty and delicate. Love how you displayed it. You asked about the hutch and why the drawers are rounded at the bottom, not sure, but I think it was made to look like the hutches in the olden days when they used the bottom sections to store flour.
