Valentine Tree

Just can't seem to take the tree down this year. I'm having so much fun with it so I went to Michaels and got some valentines. I also made some old post cards from clip art I printed and pasted onto songbook pages. Tied a ribbon and hung them on the tree.

I changed out the glittery gold decorations to more icy wintery silver ones.

Looks kind of romantic doesn't it?

Do you decorate and make a big deal for Valentines day? I would love to hear some of your ideas.

What a lovely tree!!! It's beautiful.

I don't do much special decorating for Valentine's Day....just enjoy the day with Tom.

Thanks so much for your visit and encouraging words. I'm feeling MUCH better now. But, I do need to take some time away and get my TO DO list done!!!

~Blessings,

Afternoon!

Wow, that is such a good idea, keeping your tree from Christmas and making it into a Valentine's Day tree! I love the idea of putting all your little arts and crafts on the tree! Gosh, Valentine's Day is fast approaching, make sure you make all your preparations soon, otherwise there will be a mad rush to get everything done before the big day!I really hate buying cards from those big greetings card companies, they charge you so much money! If this annoys you, then I think I may have found an alternative solution! I always send my friends a Valentine's Day text message, just to say hi! However I find a text message a bit dull, but I have found a different way to send a greeting which has a much more vibrant, and upbeat feel about it! My friend Lizzy first introduced me to the world of electronic greetings about a year ago when she went back packing around Australia. She said she found it hard to write letters, and she didn't always have a mobile phone signal! So whenever she had the chance she would go into an internet cafe and send an e-Card. This method is such a great way to keep in touch with friends, and family. With Valentine's Day coming up I think it is a good way to just send a little surprise greeting. I have done my research, and tried out loads of different sites, but I have now finally found the best Free Valentine's Day e-Card site for me. This site has both romantic, and funny, light hearted Valentine's Day e-Cards, so there is a card to suit everyone! E-Cards are not for everyone, but I think they are definitely worth a try! Just wanted to share my thoughts and findings with you all!Hope you find this all useful, Kind regards, Nicole.

I love your idea of keeping the tree up until Valentine's day! That's the worst part about Christmas to have to take it all down!! You did an excellent job making a romantic holiday tree.

What a lovely idea! I don't decorate much for Valentine's Day, though I do enjoy celebrating. One of my favorites was making a giant card on posterboard for my husband, using the names of candy bars pasted on as parts of the message.
