Something Went Terribly Wrong. . .

Does this look like a fall tablescape to you? Me neither. It started innocently a few days ago when I decided to layer a tablecloth or 2 or 3 to get a really lush look for a dinner with friends.

Then I decided to use the R.S. Plates I bought this summer. I layered it over my new Gibson white china. $14.99 for 4 place settings at Ollie's. I thought I was dreaming!
Thought I could use the green in the plates with fall decorations and make it work. No way. Every time I put another element on the table we traveled further and further from a Fall look.
Three cloths layered was a good start but the poppy plates took me in a totally different direction.

Oh well, I just threw my hands up and went for the winter votives I just purchased, grabbed a string of silver beads and went for that icy winter look

Pulled the ivy off a tree out back and the little lavender berry's off the bush on the patio. I love natural elements. Didn't even put them in water, just layered them on the table.

I love mixing votives with tall candle holders. If you look close you will see that the two tall crystal candlesticks don't match. Sort of a trademark for me. I love the unexpected!

Won't my guests be surprised! It's cold enough here to be December maybe they won't notice.

Thanks so much for stopping by and listening to my silliness. Please visit Susan to view the list of folks who have joined her for Tablescape Thursday. It's always a fun event. Enjoy yourself.

It doesn't have to be a fall table. It is sort of fun to look at something different. I'm actually trying to look at all of the tablescapes today. I'm not sure I'll make it.

Anyway, it looks beautiful and perfect for a frosty, winter look. You could easily turn this into a holiday look with a few extras.

I think it's very pretty too! Sometimes when you take the 'road less traveled' you end up with something very unique and interesting. (My tablescape this week is pink - not at all autumny)

So very lovely! I am sure you and your friends had a wonderful time sitting at this pretty table! The RS plates are just stunning. Is that RS as in RS Prussia? I found the sweetest sugar holder the other day that is RS Prussia- love it!

It looks fabulous, Ahrisha! I love the 'mismatch' idea, and you're absolutely right - it FEELS like December! ha ha...

It's so funny, when I read what your comment about the glitter letters on my mirror, I didn't know what you were referring to. I went back and looked at my photos and I had put my "An Enchanted Cottage" watermark across the mirror in one of the photos... You know what? It's a FABULOUS idea! ha ha I might just have to do that! So where did you get your glitter letters for your mirror? And thanks for the idea!

For all you punk folks out there I recommend The Enough Fanzine. It is one of the first punk fanzines on the web.

They have throusands of interviews from the most independent bands all over the world. Check them out online: Enough Fanzine. Best of it all, they are 100% non-profit and just helping the scene!

So I did it -- bought myself a Fatman iTube Valvedock Carbon and I am very happy to say that I am pleasantly surprised. I actually listened to one at a friend's house a few months back and just couldn't get that quality out of my head because it really truly surprised me. I searched online everywhere for a great deal and finally found it at Ordio in Westfield Bondi Junction. I called them up first and asked every question I could think of and everything was answered to my satisfaction so I went ahead and made the purchase. Dispatch was very fast. Everything was perfect. I'm pretty darn happy and I'm playing it right now. Not sure if they post outside of Oz but you won't be sorry if they do.

I am crazy happy about it...

Great help, I am new to this site, but learn a lot. Auto insurance is a funny thing. Each state has different rules and regulations on how auto insurance coverage should work. Despite all these laws and regulations, consumers have power over their coverage. Here are three items that your auto insurance agent won’t tell you when you sign the dotted line: 1.
