Love Love Pies

Good Morning Folks~ ~ ~
Pies are one of my favorite foods. How about you?

Today I am sharing one of my favorite recipes. I usually have the ingredents in the kitchen so I don't have to make a special trip to the store when the sweet tooth strikes! Unlike banana bread please use firm yellow bananas for this pie.
I also have to share with you the great find I came across last weekend at a local flea market.
See the lovely pink plates in the picture? These are only 3 of the 5 I purchased for $1.50 for all!
Can you believe it, I almost jumped up and down right there in front of her. Love a bargain.
How about you?

Yum! Thanks for a different take on banana cream pie. I've always loved my mom's with merguine, but I'm up for trying this one also.

Excuse me while I wipe the drool from the corner of my mouth. I love a pie with a crust like that because my pastry is the worst in the world.

That pie recipe sounds like it could become my all-time favorite in a heartbeat. Those are the prettiest pink plates ~ I sure wish we had more fleamarkets around here.

Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog. Your pie sound scrumptous! I will for sure try to make it. I had a question. Do you bake the pie crust blind??

The pie looks delicious! I was stopping by your blog to respond to the comment you left about the table I painted black. It looked pretty white, but it did not go with the decor in my kitchen. Because the table had so many "curves" and "scallops" to it, it looked a little too "girly". I felt like it looked like a "princess" table from a story book! I am thinking about adding white chairs to my kitchen table right now. I think you will like your table white. I can't wait to see it!
Blessings,
Traci
